The Garden, Patio and Field …

The Barn has parking for 3 or 4 cars at the front of the house leading to the porch and a wood store for use in the wood-burning stove.

From there the garden wraps around the side of the house to the rear and leads on to a large natural slate patio with outdoor furniture, including a table and chairs for 6 and garden benches.

The garden is bordered by a low hedge and natural stone wall with an outside tap and hose available to clean feet, wet suits and body boards.

The patio is accessed from within the Barn by double doors leading to the kitchen and a second set that leads to the back hall and bedrooms.

A 3 bar gate leads from the patio and garden area to the Barn’s own private meadow which slopes down towards the beach and offers plenty of scope for exploring and kite-flying.

The meadow has a path which leads to an informal pathway sloping down in the direction of the beach and opening onto the beach car park road. Please take care if using the pathway as there is no gate at the bottom and it slopes steeply in places. Alternatively the beach can be accessed from the front driveway and a short walk down the hill.
